Evaluation and Outcomes

Our Investees strive to build their capacity, and we help them measure their progress along the way.  Through SVP's Capacity Assessment Tool, orginally developed by McKinsey & Co., non-profit organizations are able to plan, evaluate, and prioritize how to strengthen their organizations.

To demonstrate the social impact of SVP investments within an organization, we focus on both qualitative and quanitative results.  The Most Significant Change tool allows our Investees to report their successes within a funding year in a narrative format.  Additionally, every other year, the SVPI network, through the power of Survey Monkey, asks each investee to quantify the amount of support that SVP has provided.  These details are reported through the Investee Outcomes report.

Monitoring organizational capacity and social impact helps our Investees to achieve their goals.  Through our re-granting process we continue to support these successful relationships.
